Personalized Laptop Sleeve

I completed this sleeve Sunday. It fits a larger laptop, but I can change the size and letter if I get an order for it in my shop. I love black and white especially in damaske. This sleeve was a gift, but I hope to sell some for 25.00. I thought that was a reasonable price and I don't want to have anything over 25 in my shop. So far this month I have only sold headbands and hairpeices, but I am optimistic. I love making bags with round bottoms. A knitting bag for my mother with eyelets for her yarn is in the making for her mother's day gift this year. Can't wait for a visit!
The weather has been finicky lately. It's definetly May. One day it's 70 degrees and sunny, the next it's 49 and gloomy.
Peace,
Jill

Horse Show

Today was a big day for Cheyenne. She was in the fuzzy fun horse show at the Allegan fairgrounds. We arrived at 9am and completed seven classes. Our girl had such a good time and got so many ribbons! Thankyou Eva for all your help. Cheyenne did the best in a Western Horsemanship class and placed 3rd among several riders. What a great job! Clayton was also there to support his big sister and took every chance he could to sit atop Patches.

Poppies

On to Mrs. Culps hair fascinators. I have
several hair options: elastic bands in any color, plastic bands in red, black, white, and brown or little clips and pins. I personally like an elastic band made from lingerie elastic. Very comfy and doesn't feel like it's a cutting the circulation off in my brain.
More bowls to make for Mrs. Carr. Colors I'm thinking? Yellow, cream and orange are speaking to me. Love greys as well.

One Laptop Sleeve to PA

This sleeve is quite fitting in my little tree. Three woodland creatures: deer, owl, and a squirrel
All that's left is to ship and hope my measurements are correct. It may be snug but it's not going to fall apart. Lots of zig zag and back stitch.

Ready to Ship

Completion! This sleeve has really turned out beautifully thanks to the owners ideas and suggestions. Photos of me taken by the lovely Cheyenne. She's already a great photographer at five. The weather is great here this week, just have to remember the sunscreen!

This week I recieved a special order for a patchwork laptop sleeve. I love doing these types of projects especially those with a some vintage and a little whimsey.
Here are a few photos of the progress. I used some vintage remakes and some sashiko quilting techniques.
